Welcome to CYG Records! C.Y.G. started a long, long, long time ago in a far off land when evil ruled the earth. CYG Records was started back in the late 1990s (~1997) by two high school friends Sandin & John to record and release their bands and and theirfellow local bands in the punk and hard core scene of Long Island. The first official release was the s.a.d. 7-inch "Oh my it's so huge..." in the summer of 1998. Since then we have released the f.o.c.u.s. cd "No refills" in the fall of 1998 & the Self Titled follow-up in 2000.. Our philosophy was simple, to help bands put out their music. We are all fans of music here and love helping to get your music out.
Since then, mortgages needed to be paid and moths needed to be fed. So, now CYG Records serves as a museum for all of our projects back when we were trying to press records & CDs to present day. So have a look around and give us a should out!
